The Mercedes-Benz G-class it is perhaps one of the most customized luxury SUVs. One such tuning company is Manhart, which has unveiled its new G800 Inferno kit, which will replace the previous G700 Inferno.

The Manhart tuning kit is limited to high performance Mercedes-AMG G63 an option that already offers an insane 577-horsepower twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 straight from the factory. For this tune, Manhart upgraded its turbochargers, installed a new stainless steel exhaust system with valve control, upgraded the intercooler, installed a new air intake, and performed an ECU retune to allow the V-8 to produce a staggering 798 horsepower and 863 pound-feet of twist.

Like most other tuners, Manhart made the Mercedes-AMG G63 a bit better on the road and stripped it of its off-road abilities. That shouldn’t be too surprising, since most G-Class buyers won’t even be taking it to places that resemble a forest or tundra.

To achieve this look, Manhart enlisted the help of TopCar’s design for the SUV’s wide carbon fiber body, which is complemented by more aggressive front and rear bumper designs. Say goodbye to any off-road ambitions with this G63 thanks to lowered H&R springs and Manhart forged alloy wheels shod in low-profile tires. Topping it all off is the available black and gold color scheme, a hallmark of every Manhart-tuned car, as well as a roof-mounted spoiler.

As an optional package, the package can also extend to the interior, where Manhart will wrap surfaces in black and gold leather and/or suede.
